SOYEON has released solo music before. What she has not released is a full-length solo album.

That changes on September 7, 2026 at 6 p.m. KST, when What a Wonderful Life arrives on digital platforms. For an artist whose writing and production have helped define i-dle’s identity, the format matters: this is her first chance to present an album-length solo statement rather than a single chapter.

The Date Is Simple; the Physical Schedule Is Not

Weverse lists September 7 as the release date for the HOME, ISLAND and LIFE versions. The TEMPLE version follows on September 21, with its own preorder window.

That distinction is useful for international buyers. A later shipping notice for one package does not mean the digital album itself has moved.

Why “First Full Album” Is the Real Headline

SOYEON’s solo catalog already includes the 2021 EP Windy, while her work with i-dle has established her as a rapper, songwriter and producer. A first full album therefore carries a different expectation: not simply more tracks, but a wider frame for how she presents her own story and sound.

What Is Confirmed—and What Still Needs Release Day

The title, release time, full-album format and physical editions are confirmed. Any detailed claim about the complete sound, lyrical narrative or standout track should wait for official credits, a tracklist or the finished album.

That is the cleanest way to approach this comeback: the milestone is already substantial without guessing ahead of the music.
